How to do it?

Drill and shape a large form. It will hide your ugly plastic socket :-) Here, we're using a wooden pencil pot, but you can also use shapes like Decopatch.

China wooden toys on @leboncoin, bomb them. Go wild with colors 🎨 the more the better!
Finally, make the electrical assembly and thread the wooden shapes onto the cable!

For the finishing touches, it's up to you: you can hang it from the ceiling like a classic chandelier or connect it to a plug and socket, using the same principle as the socket shown in the tutorial.
