#DIYISewMyMask

With the support of documents provided by the Grenoble University Hospital and advice from the infectious diseases doctors we contacted, we decided to create this #DIYJeCoudsMonMasque to teach you how to sew a washable fabric mask.

Caution: These masks are not medical devices. Whatever the materials used, they do not protect against viruses, but they do form a first barrier to prevent droplets from being projected and avoid hand/mouth contact. Respect barrier gestures.

They should not be worn for several hours, so remember to wash them regularly at high temperatures.

Seamstresses, to your machines! If you have the time, energy and ability, make more masks and distribute them to the most vulnerable people. Make My Lemonade are behind their home-office-machines!

Take care of yourself and your loved ones, we'll check your elbow and see you soon, okay?

Support and a huge THANK YOU to all the medical and paramedical staff currently on the front line.

The World Health Organization recommends adopting a series of barrier measures, such as scrupulous application of basic hygiene rules:

  • Wash your hands regularly (with hydroalcoholic solution or soap and water),
  • Sneeze or cough into your elbow, use disposable tissues, ventilate rooms and avoid close contact with people.
  • Regularly clean inert surfaces (e.g. door handles, telephones) where the virus can survive for several days.
