Here's a special containment tutorial for all sewists. This technique will allow you to explore new sewing possibilities, especially in model making :)

this is a method that allows you to transfer a pattern from a finished garment, without having to unsew the garment in question.

You'll be able to redo it identically, modify it to your measurements, or change details. At the end of the booklet, you'll also find information on how to change the direction of a clamp, and the different types of clamp to use depending on the desired result.

Advice pattern

To do this you will need:
-a ruler (Japanese, but it's possible to do without),
-Fine canvas or other fabric (ideally 100% cotton, or an old sheet),
-erasable pens or chalk,
-a pencil, an eraser and a roll of scotch tape,
-pins,
-fabric and paper scissors,
-a tape measure,
For the lucky ones, a roulette wheel at pattern .

Please note: you can only download 5 files per model. We recommend that you save your file on your computer or in the cloud, so as not to lose it.

Formats and printing
All patterns products are available in A4/US letter format.
Newer models are also available in A0 (we are gradually adding older models).
To print in A4/US letter, you need your own printer or a printer's specialist. To print in A0, you need a printer.

Assembly
For A4/US letter format. The printed area is smaller than the page. We advise you to print the first page, making sure that the test square is the right size.
Please note that your printer settings must be set to "no scaling" or "print 100%". After printing, you can trim the margins and tape the sheets together. See further instructions here.
